Weekly Classes

Our weekly classes cover either;

a range of taught CLASSES, COVERING hand-building TECHNIQUES, glazing and decorating skills. you can also have the opportunity to practice throwing with LIMITED tutor guidance on selected sessions,

or you can sign up to a dedicated throwing weekly class, to build on the initial skills you have gained from one of our private throwing sessions.

NON TAUGHT SESSIONS ARE FOR THOSE WANTING TO PRACTICE THROWING AFTER A PRIVATE THROWING SESSION OR AND EXPERIENCED HANDBUILDER OR A MAKER WHO CAN ONLY COMMIT TO ONE SESSION A WEEK.

Cancellations for rescheduling or refunds have to be done a week before the course starts.

Under no circumstances do we post work out to you, collection only.

Taught weekly classes, on the throwing course where you will focus on the basic cylinder form then progress through trimming bases and turning foot-rings, pulling handles and glazing, though content may vary depending on students' abilities. Participants should have some prior experience, a least 1 private throwing session..

Sessions are not transferable or able to be caught up and are for the set session you have booked onto.

Mondays: 15, 22, 29 April and 6, 13, 20 May (6 Sessions) Evenings (6.30-9)

Tuesdays: 16, 23, 30 April and 7, 14, 21 May (6 sessions) Evenings (6.30-9)

Wednesdays: 17, 24 April and 1, 8, 15, 22 May (6 sessions) Evenings (6.30-9)

Sundays: 14, 21, 28 April and 5, 12, 19 May (6 sessions) Mornings (10-12.30)

Please note: We are sorry but missed sessions cannot usually be made up at other times. This is because the courses are full, may be delivered by a different teacher and may be covering different techniques or activities. You can read our full T&Cs here.
